And Joab said unto the man that told him, And, behold, thou sawest him, and why didst thou not smite him there to the ground? and I would have given thee ten shekels of silver, and a girdle.

Ary hoy Joaba tamin' ilay lehilahy nilaza taminy: Koa nahoana, raha nahita azy ianao, no tsy nasianao hianjera amin' ny tany izy, ka dia tsy maintsy ho nomeko sekely volafotsy folo sy fehin-kibo ianao?

Dia hoy Joaba tamin-dralehilahy nilaza izany vaovao izany: Hitanao izy hoe ka no tsy nasianao hiankapoka tery? Dia tsy maintsy ho nomeko volafotsy folo sikla sy fehin-kibo iray hianao.

Joab répondit à l' homme qui portait cette nouvelle : " Puisque tu l' as vu, pourquoi ne l' as-tu pas abattu sur place ? J' aurais pris sur moi de te donner dix sicles d' argent et une ceinture! "
