Dia tonga izy ireo ka nanao fahirano an' i Sebà tao Abela-Beta-Maakà. Nanandratra tovon-tany hamely ny tanàna izy ka nahatratra ny manda izany, ka samy nikezaka hanjera ny manda ny vahoaka rehetra nomba an' i Joaba.

On vint l' assiéger dans Abel-Bet-Maaka et on entassa contre la ville un remblai qui s' adossait à l' avant-mur, et toute l' armée qui accompagnait Joab creusait des sapes pour faire tomber le rempart.
