So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days' pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me.

Ary Gada nankany amin' i Davida dia nanambara izany taminy ka nanao hoe: Mosary fito taona va no tianao ho tonga aminao eto amin' ny taninao? Hevero sy saino ankehitriny, izay valy homeko an' ilay naniraka ahy.

Donc Gad se rendit chez David et lui notifia ceci : " Faut-il que t' adviennent trois années de famine dans ton pays, ou que tu fuies pendant trois mois devant ton ennemi qui te poursuivra, ou qu' il y ait pendant trois jours la peste dans ton pays ? Maintenant réfléchis et vois ce que je dois répondre à celui qui m' envoie! "
