So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which rise up against me.

Ary Ahaza naniraka olona ho any amin' i Tiglato-pilesera, mpanjakan' i Asyria, hanao hoe: Mpanomponao sy zanakao aho; miakara, ka vonjeo aho tsy ho azon' ny mpanjakan' i Syria sy ny mpanjakan' ny Isiraely, izay efa mitsangana hiady amiko.

Nandefa iraka tany amin' i Teglathfalasara mpanjakan' i Asiria, Akaza nanao hoe: Mpanomponao sy zanakao aho, ka miakara hanafaka ahy amin' ny tanan' ny mpanjakan' Israely, fa nitsangan-kamely ahy izy ireo.

Alors Achaz envoya des messagers à Téglat-Phalasar, roi d' Assyrie, pour lui dire : "Je suis ton serviteur et ton fils! Viens me délivrer des mains du roi d' Aram et du roi d' Israël, qui se sont levés contre moi."
