Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother' s name was Hephzibah.

2Mp 21:2

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.

Il fit ce qui déplaît à Yahvé, imitant les abominations des nations que Yahvé avait chassées devant les Israélites.

2Mp 21:3

For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

Il rebâtit les hauts lieux qu' avait détruits Ezéchias, son père, il éleva des autels à Baal et fabriqua un pieu sacré, comme avait fait Achab, roi d' Israël, il se prosterna devant toute l' armée du ciel et lui rendit un culte.

2Mp 21:4

And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.

Il construisit des autels dans le Temple de Yahvé, au sujet duquel Yahvé avait dit : "C' est à Jérusalem que je placerai mon Nom."

2Mp 21:5

And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.

Fa nanao alitara teo anatin' ny kianja roa tamin' ny tranon' i Jehovah ho an' izay rehetra eny amin' ny lanitra izy.

Otely ho an' ny tafiky ny lanitra rehetra no nataony tao anatin' ny kianja roa amin' ny tranon' ny Tompo.

Il construisit des autels à toute l' armée du ciel dans les deux cours du Temple de Yahvé.

2Mp 21:6

And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.

Il fit passer son fils par le feu. Il pratiqua les incantations et la divination, installa des nécromants et des devins, il multiplia les actions que Yahvé regarde comme mauvaises, provoquant ainsi sa colère.

And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the Lord said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

Il plaça l' idole d' Ashéra, qu' il avait faite, dans le Temple au sujet duquel Yahvé avait dit à David et à son fils Salomon "Dans ce Temple et dans Jérusalem, la ville que j' ai choisie dans toutes les tribus d' Israël, je placerai mon Nom à jamais.

2Mp 21:8

Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.

Je ne ferai plus errer les pas des Israélites loin de la terre que j' ai donnée à leurs pères, pourvu qu' ils veillent à pratiquer tout ce que je leur ai commandé, selon toute la Loi qu' a prescrit pour eux mon serviteur Moïse."

2Mp 21:9

But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the Lord destroyed before the children of Israel.

Nefa tsy nihaino izy; fa Manase nitaona azy hanao ratsy mihoatra noho ny nataon' ny jentilisa, izay naringan' i Jehovah tsy ho eo anoloan' ny Zanak' Isiraely.

Mais ils n' obéirent pas, Manassé les égara, au point qu' ils agirent plus mal que les nations que Yahvé avait exterminées devant les Israélites.

2Mp 21:10

And the Lord spake by his servants the prophets, saying,

Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

2Mp 21:12

Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.

Ary hohenjaniko ato Jerosalema ny famolainan' i Samaria sy ny pilaon' ny taranak' i Ahaba; ary hamaoka an' i Jerosalema Aho, toy ny olona mamaoka lovia ka sady mamaoka no manohoka azy koa.

And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

Je rejetterai les restants de mon héritage, je les livrerai entre les mains de leurs ennemis, ils serviront de proie et de butin à tous leurs ennemis,

2Mp 21:15

Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.

satria efa nanao izay ratsy eo imasoko izy ka nampahatezitra Ahy hatramin' ny andro nivoahan' ny razany avy any Egypta ka mandraka androany.

parce qu' ils ont fait ce qui me déplaît et qu' ils ont provoqué ma colère, depuis le jour où leurs pères sont sortis d' Egypte jusqu'à ce jour-ci."

2Mp 21:16

Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the Lord.

Manassé répandit aussi le sang innocent en si grande quantité qu' il inonda Jérusalem d' un bout à l' autre, en plus des péchés qu' il avait fait commettre à Juda en agissant mal au regard de Yahvé.

2Mp 21:17

Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

Ary ny tantaran' i Manase sisa mbamin' izay rehetra nataony sy ny fahotana izay nataony, tsy efa voasoratra ao amin' ny bokin' ny tantaran' ny mpanjakan' ny Joda va izany?

Le reste de l' histoire de Manassé et tout ce qu' il a fait, les péchés qu' il a commis, cela n' est-il pas écrit au livre des Annales des rois de Juda?

2Mp 21:18

And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

Manassé se coucha avec ses pères et on l' enterra dans le jardin de son palais, le jardin d' Uzza; son fils Amon régna à sa place.

Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother' s name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.

Roa amby roa-polo taona Amona, fony izy vao nanjaka, ary roa taona no nanjakany tany Jerosalema, Ary ny anaran-dreniny dia Mesolemeta, zanakavavin' i Haroza, avy any Jotba.

Amon avait 22 ans à son avènement et il régna deux ans à Jérusalem; sa mère s' appelait Meshullémèt, fille de Haruç, et était de Yotba.

2Mp 21:20

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, as his father Manasseh did.

2Mp 21:21

And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:

Fa nandeha tamin' ny lalana rehetra izay efa nalehan-drainy izy ka nanompo ny sampy izay notompoin-drainy sady niankohoka teo anatrehany.

Il suivit en tout la conduite de son père, rendit un culte aux idoles qu' il avait servies et se prosterna devant elles.

2Mp 21:22

And he forsook the Lord God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.

Ary nahafoy an' i Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny razany, izy, fa tsy nandeha tamin' ny lalan' i Jehovah.

Nahafoy an' ny Tompo Andriamanitry ny razany izy, ary tsy nandeha tamin' ny lalan' ny Tompo.

Il abandonna Yahvé, Dieu de ses ancêtres, et ne suivit pas la voie de Yahvé.

2Mp 21:23

And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.

And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
