These are the words of the covenant, which the Lord commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.

Dia niantso ny Isiraely rehetra Mosesy ka nanao taminy hoe: Hianareo efa nahita izay rehetra nataon' i Jehovah teo imasonareo tany amin' ny tany Egypta tamin' i Farao sy ny mpanompony rehetra ary ny taniny rehetra,

Niantso an' Israely rehetra Moizy, dia nilaza taminy hoe: Efa hitanareo izay nataon' ny Tompo teo imasonareo, tany amin' ny tany Ejipta, tamin' i Faraona sy ny mpanompony rehetra ary ny taniny rehetra,

Moïse convoqua tout Israël et leur dit : Vous avez vu tout ce que Yahvé a fait sous vos yeux au pays d'Égypte, tant à Pharaon et à tous ses serviteurs qu'à tout son pays :

And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that the Lord did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land;

dia ny fizahan-toetra lehibe, izay efa hitan' ny masonao, dia ireny famantarana sy fahagagana lehibe ireny.

dia ny fizahan-toetra lehibe, ireo famantarana amam-pahagagana lehibe efa hitan' ny masonao.

ces grandes épreuves que tu as vues toi-même, ces signes et ces prodiges grandioses.

Deo / Dt 29:3

The great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles:

Nefa tsy nomen' i Jehovah fo hahalala sy maso hahita ary sofina handre ianareo mandraka androany.

Mandrak' androany anefa dia mbola tsy nomen' ny Tompo fo mahalala sy maso mahita ary sofina mahare hianareo.

Mais, jusqu' aujourd' hui, Yahvé ne vous avait pas donné un coeur pour connaître, des yeux pour voir, des oreilles pour entendre.

Deo / Dt 29:4

Yet the Lord hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

Dia nitondra anareo tany an-efitra efa-polo taona aho; tsy rovitra teny aminareo ny fitafianareo, ary tsy rovitra teo amin' ny tongotrao ny kapanao.

Efapolo taona no nitondrako anareo tany an' efitra; nefa ny fitafiana teny an-koditrareo tsy tonta, ny kapa tamin' ny tongotrareo tsy tonta,

Je vous ai fait aller quarante ans dans le désert, sans que soient usés vos vêtements sur vous, ni tes sandales à tes pieds.

Deo / Dt 29:5

And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.

Tsy mofo no fihinanareo, ary tsy divay na toaka no fisotronareo, mba ho fantatrareo fa Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.

tsy mofo nohaninareo, tsy divay na labiera nosotroinareo; mba hahazoanareo mahalala fa izaho no Iaveh Andriamanitrareo.

Vous n' avez pas eu de pain à manger, ni de vin ou de boisson fermentée à boire, afin que vous sachiez d' expérience que moi, Yahvé, je suis votre Dieu.

Deo / Dt 29:6

Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the Lord your God.

Ary nony tonga tamin' ity tany ity ianareo, dia nivoaka Sihona, mpanjakan' i Hesbona, sy Oga, mpanjakan' i Basana, hiady amintsika, dia resintsika izy roa lahy.

Toy izany no nahatongavanareo teto amin' ity toerana ity. Nivoaka nitsena antsika hiady tamintsika Sehona mpanjakan' i Hesebona, sy Oga mpanjakan' i Basàna, fa resintsika,

Puis vous êtes venus en ce lieu. Sihôn, roi de Heshbôn, et Og, roi du Bashân, sont sortis à notre rencontre pour nous combattre, mais nous les avons battus.

Deo / Dt 29:7

And when ye came unto this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us unto battle, and we smote them:

Ary nalaintsika ny taniny ka nomentsika ho zara-tanin' ny Robenita sy ny Gadita ary ny antsasaky ny firenen' i Manase.

ka nalaintsika ny taniny, dia nomentsika ho zaratanin' ny Robenita sy ny Gadita ary ny antsasa-pokon' ny Manasita.

Nous avons conquis leur pays, et nous l' avons donné en héritage à Ruben, à Gad et à la demi-tribu de Manassé.

Deo / Dt 29:8

And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance unto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh.

Dia tandremo ny tenin' izao fanekena izao, ka araho, mba hambinina ianareo amin' izay rehetra ataonareo.

Koa tandremo ary ny tenin' ity fanekena ity, ary araho izy, mba hahomby hianareo, amin' izay rehetra hataonareo.

Gardez les paroles de cette alliance et mettez-les en pratique afin de réussir dans toutes vos entreprises.

Deo / Dt 29:9

Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.

Hianareo rehetra miseho eto anatrehan' i Jehovah Andriamanitrareo anio, dia ny lehibenareo sy ny firenenareo, ny lohan' ny firenenareo sy ny mpifehy anareo ary ny lehilahy rehetra amin' ny Isiraely,

Miseho eto anatrehan' ny Tompo Andriamanitrareo hianareo rehetra anio, dia ny lehibenareo, ny fokonareo, ny loholonareo, ny mpifehy anareo, ny lehilahy rehetra amin' Israely,

Vous voici aujourd' hui debout devant Yahvé votre Dieu : vos chefs de tribus, vos anciens, vos scribes, tous les hommes d' Israël,

Deo / Dt 29:10

Ye stand this day all of you before the Lord your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,

ny zanakareo madinika koa sy ny vadinareo ary ny vahiny eo amin' ny tobinareo mbamin' ny mpikapa hazonao sy ny mpantsaka ranonao

ny zanakareo sy ny vadinareo ary ny vahiny eo an-tobinao hatramin' ny mpikapa hazonao ka hatramin' ny mpantsaka ranonao,

avec vos enfants et vos femmes et aussi l'étranger qui est dans ton camp, aussi bien celui qui coupe ton bois que celui qui puise ton eau ,

Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:

hidiranao amin' ny faneken' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao sy ny fianianana, izay ataon' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao aminao anio,

mba hiditra amin' ny faneken' ny Tompo Andriamanitrao, sy amin' ny fianianany; dia ny fanekena izay ataon' ny Tompo Andriamanitrao aminao anio,

et tu vas passer dans l' alliance de Yahvé ton Dieu, jurée avec imprécation, alliance qu' il a conclue aujourd' hui avec toi

That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the Lord thy God, and into his oath, which the Lord thy God maketh with thee this day:

hanandratany anao ho fireneny, ary mba ho Andriamanitrao Izy, araka izay nolazainy taminao sy araka izay nianianany tamin' ny razanao, dia Abrahama sy Isaka ary Jakoba.

mba hanandratany anao anio ho vahoakany, dia izy no ho Andriamanitrao, araka ny nolazainy taminao sy nianianany tamin' ny razanao Abrahama sy Isaaka ary Jakoba.

pour faire aujourd' hui de toi un peuple tandis que lui-même sera pour toi un Dieu, comme il te l' a dit et comme il l' a juré à tes pères Abraham, Isaac et Jacob.

Deo / Dt 29:13

That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

Ary tsy aminareo ihany no anaovako izao fanekena sy fianianana izao,

Tsy aminao ihany no anaovako izao fanekena sy fianianana izao,

Ce n' est pas avec vous seulement que je conclus aujourd' hui cette alliance et que je profère cette imprécation,

Deo / Dt 29:14

Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;

fa amin' izay eto amintsika anio eto anatrehan' i Jehovah Andriamanitsika sy amin' izay tsy eto amintsika anio koa;

fa amin' izay rehetra eto amintsika anio, eto anatrehan' ny Tompo Andriamanitsika, sy amin' ireo tsy eto amintsika anio koa na iza na iza.

mais aussi bien avec celui qui se tient ici avec nous en présence de Yahvé votre Dieu, qu' avec celui qui n' est pas ici avec nous aujourd' hui.

Deo / Dt 29:15

But with him that standeth here with us this day before the Lord our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:

fa fantatrareo izay nitoerantsika tany amin' ny tany Egypta sy izay nandehanantsika namaky ny tanin' ny jentilisa;

Fantatrareo izay nitoerantsika tany Ejipta sy izay namakiantsika ny tanin' ny firenena izay nandalovanareo;

Oui, vous savez avec qui nous demeurions en Égypte, au milieu de qui nous avons passé, ces nations que vous avez traversées.

(For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;

ary efa hitanareo ny fahavetavetany sy ny sampiny hazo sy vato sy volafotsy ary volamena, izay teo aminy;

efa hitanareo ny fahavetavetan' izy ireo sy ny sampy vato aman-kazo, volafotsy amam-bolamena, tany amin' izy ireo.

Vous avez vu leurs horreurs et leurs idoles, le bois, la pierre, l' or et l' argent qui sont chez elles.

Deo / Dt 29:17

And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:)

fandrao hisy lehilahy, na vehivavy, na mpianakavy, na firenena eto aminareo, izay manana fo mivily anio, ka miala amin' i Jehovah Andriamanitsika, handehanany hanompo ny andriamanitr' ireny firenena ireny; fandrao hisy faka eo aminareo izay miteraka zava-mangidy sady mahafaty;

Koa aoka tsy hisy aminareo anio, na lahy na vavy, na fianakaviana na foko, hanana fo mivily miala amin' ny Tompo Andriamanitsika, mba handeha hanompo ny andriamanitr' ireny firenena ireny; aoka tsy hisy aminareo ho fototra hiteraka poizina sy absinta.

Qu' il n' y ait pas parmi vous homme ni femme, clan ni tribu dont le coeur se détourne aujourd' hui de Yahvé notre Dieu en allant servir les dieux de ces nations ! Qu' il n' y ait pas parmi vous de racine d' où lèvent le pavot et l' absinthe !

Deo / Dt 29:18

Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;

ary raha ren' izany olona izany ny tenin' ity fanozonana ity, dia hiarahaba tena ao am-pony izy ka hanao hoe: Hanam-piadanana aho, fa hanaraka ny ditry ny foko, handringanana ny leony mbamin' ny mangetaheta.

Aoka tsy hisy amin' izay mandre ny tenin' ity fianianana ity, hihambo anankam-pony manao hoe: Hiadana ihany aho, na dia mandeha manaraka ny ditran' ny foko aza; ka dia ho voatariky ny efa leony izay mangetaheta.

Si, après avoir entendu cette imprécation, quelqu' un se bénit lui-même en son coeur en disant : " A marcher selon l' assurance de mon propre coeur, je ne manquerai de rien, si bien que l' abondance d' eau fera disparaître la soif ",

Deo / Dt 29:19

And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:

Ary Jehovah dia tsy hety hamela ny helony, fa hanetroka amin' izany lehilahy izany ny fahatezeran' i Jehovah sy ny fahasaro-piarony, ary hitoetra aminy ny fanozonana rehetra izay voasoratra amin' ity boky ity, ka hovonoin' i Jehovah tsy ho eo ambanin' ny lanitra ny anarany.

Tsy hanaiky hamela heloka izany olona izany Iaveh, fa hirehitra amin' izany olona izany ny hatezeran' ny Tompo sy ny fahasarotam-piarony ka hianjera aminy avokoa ny ozona rehetra voasoratra amin' ity boky ity, ary hovonoin' ny Tompo tsy ho eto ambanin' ny lanitra ny anarany.

Yahvé ne consentira pas à lui pardonner. Car la colère et la jalousie de Yahvé s' enflammeront contre cet homme, toute l' imprécation inscrite dans ce livre fondra sur lui, et Yahvé effacera son nom de dessous les cieux.

Deo / Dt 29:20

The Lord will not spare him, but then the anger of the Lord and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the Lord shall blot out his name from under heaven.

Dia hosarahin' i Jehovah amin' ny firenen' Isiraely rehetra ho amin' ny loza izy, araka ny fanozonana rehetra amin' ny fanekena izay voasoratra amin' ity bokin' ny lalàna ity.

Hosarahin' ny Tompo amin' ny fokon' Israely rehetra izy, ka hatolony amin' ny loza, araka ny fanozonana momba ny fanekena voasoratra amin' ity bokin' ny lalàna ity.

Yahvé le mettra à part de toutes les tribus d' Israël, pour son malheur, selon toutes les imprécations de l' alliance inscrite au livre de cette Loi.

Deo / Dt 29:21

And the Lord shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:

Ary hiteny ny taranaka any aoriana, dia ny zanakareo izay hitsangana handimby anareo, sy ny vahiny avy amin' ny tany lavitra, raha mahita ny kapoka natao tamin' ity tany ity sy ny faharariana izay nampaharanan' i Jehovah azy

Ny taranaka any aoriana, ny zanakareo mbola ho teraka handimby anareo mbamin' ny vahiny avy any amin' ny tany lavitra, hahita ny loza sy ny aretina hamelin' ny Tompo izany tany izany,

La génération future, celle de vos fils qui se lèveront après vous, et aussi l'étranger venu d' un pays lointain, verront les fléaux qui frapperont ce pays et les maladies que Yahvé y fera sévir, et s'écrieront :

Deo / Dt 29:22

So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the Lord hath laid upon it;

fa ho solifara sy sira ary fahamaizana ny tany rehetra eo: tsy hofafazana izy, na hanirian-javatra, sady tsy hisy ahitra akory hitrebona ao, tahaka ny nandravana an' i Sodoma sy Gomora sy Adma ary Zeboima, izay noravan' i Jehovah tamin' ny fahavinirany sy ny fahatezerany

dia ny solfara sy ny sira, fanakilàna an' izany tany rehetra izany, izay hofafazana tsy hanome vokatra avy aminy, tsy haniriana ahitra akory, toy ny tamin' ny fikorontanan' i Sodoma sy Gomora, Adamà sy Seboima, izay nakorontan' ny Tompo tamin' ny fahatezerany amam-pahavinirany,

" Soufre, sel, toute sa terre est brûlée ; on n' y sèmera plus, rien n' y germera plus, aucune herbe n' y croîtra plus. Ainsi ont été changées Sodome et Gomorrhe, Adma et Çeboyim que Yahvé dévasta dans sa colère et sa fureur ! "

Deo / Dt 29:23

And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the Lord overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:

dia hiteny ny firenena rehetra hoe: Nahoana Jehovah no dia nanao toy izany tamin' ity tany ity? Inona no hevitry ny firehetan' izao fahatezerana lehibe izao?

ka hiteny izany firenena rehetra izany hanao hoe: Nahoana Iaveh no dia nanao izao tamin' izany tany izany? Inona no dia nahatonga izao firehetam-pahatezerana lehibe izao? Dia hisy hilaza hanao hoe:

Et toutes les nations s'écrieront : " Pourquoi Yahvé a-t-il ainsi traité ce pays ? Pourquoi l' ardeur de cette grande colère ? "

Deo / Dt 29:24

Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the Lord done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger?

Dia hiteny ny vahoaka ka hanao hoe: Satria izy nahafoy ny faneken' i Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny razany, izay nataony taminy fony Izy nitondra azy nivoaka avy tany amin' ny tany Egypta.

Noho izy ireo nahafoy ny fanekena tamin' ny Tompo Andriamanitry ny razany, izay nataony tamin' izy ireo, fony izy nampivoaka azy avy tany amin' ny tany Ejipta,

Et l' on dira : " Parce qu' ils ont abandonné l' alliance de Yahvé, Dieu de leurs pères, qu' il avait conclue avec eux en les faisant sortir du pays d'Égypte ;

Deo / Dt 29:25

Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:

Fa nandeha izy ka nanompo andriamani-kafa sady niankohoka teo anatrehany, dia andriamanitra izay tsy fantany sady tsy nomena azy;

ka nandeha nanompo andriamani-kafa sy niankohoka teo anatrehan' ireny andriamanitra tsy fantany akory, na nomen' ny Tompo ho anjarany,

parce qu' ils sont allés servir d' autres dieux et les ont adorés, dieux qu' ils n' avaient pas connus ni reçus de lui en partage,

Deo / Dt 29:26

For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:

dia nirehitra tamin' ity tany ity ny fahatezeran' i Jehovah, ka nataony tonga taminy avokoa ny fanozonana rehetra izay voasoratra eto amin' ity boky ity;

dia nirehitra tamin' izany tany izany ny fahatezeran' ny Tompo, nazerany taminy avokoa ny ozona rehetra voasoratra amin' ity boky ity.

la colère de Yahvé s' est enflammée contre ce pays, faisant venir sur lui toute la malédiction inscrite dans ce livre.

Deo / Dt 29:27

And the anger of the Lord was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:

ary fahavinirana sy fahatezerana ary fahatezerana mirehitra no nandroahan' i Jehovah azy tsy ho eo amin' ny taniny sy nampandehanany azy ho any amin' ny tany hafa, tahaka ny amin' izao anio izao.

Fahatezerana sy fahavinirana amam-pisafoahana lehibe no nanatsoahan' ny Tompo azy hiala amin' ny taniny, sy nanilihany azy ho any an-tany hafa, tahaka izao ankehitriny izao:

Yahvé les a arrachés de leur terre avec colère, fureur et grande indignation, et les a jetés en un autre pays, comme aujourd' hui. "

Deo / Dt 29:28

And the Lord rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.

An' i Jehovah Andriamanitsika ny zava-miafina; fa antsika sy ny zanatsika mandrakizay kosa ny zavatra ambara, hankatoavantsika ny teny rehetra amin' ity lalàna ity.

Ny zava-miafina, an' ny Tompo Andriamanitsika; fa ny zava-nambara kosa, antsika sy ny taranatsika mandrakizay, mba hanatanterahantsika ny teny rehetra amin' ity lalàna ity.

Les choses cachées sont à Yahvé notre Dieu, mais les choses révélées sont à nous et à nos fils pour toujours, afin que nous mettions en pratique toutes les paroles de cette Loi.

Deo / Dt 29:29

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
