And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the Lord helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.

Ary nony nahita an' i Josafata ireo komandin' ny kalesy, dia hoy izy: Iny mihitsy no mpanjakan' ny Isiraely. Dia nohodidininy hasiany izy, ka dia niantsoantso Josafata, ary Jehovah namonjy azy; eny, Andriamanitra nampiala ireo teo aminy;

Nony nahita an' i Josafata ny komandin' ny an-kalesy, dia nanao hoe: Inty tokoa ny mpanjakan' Israely, sady nohodidininy hasiana izy. Niantso mafy Josafata dia novonjen' ny Tompo, ka nampanalavitin' Andriamanitra azy ny Siriana.

Lorsque les commandants de chars virent Josaphat, ils dirent : " C' est le roi d' Israël ", et ils concentrèrent sur lui le combat; mais Josaphat poussa son cri de guerre, Yahvé lui vint en aide et Dieu les entraîna loin de lui.
